[1.301+New Maps Update] Chancellor (Terror) vs Mathys (Canadian Artillery)

Played today and had two fun games against Mathys as RMC.  I previously thought all their infantry could do the falls-camo, but after I discovered only the sniper upgraded ones could do so, I'm really pleased with this new faction, and I'm honestly convinced its 100% more fun than the regular Brits.

Haven't watched them yet, but there seems to be more replays coming up. Would you say its any easier to find a game since the patch? I was looking for one yesterday, unfortunately it was all comp stomps.

i'll have a watch, because i like seeing hard work as much as taking part.

EDIT: k i just watched both, looks like poor mathys88 was beaten in both.
Sturzdorf was interesting infanty fight but over quickly.

Langres bit of infantry actions, a few flanking moves. Where Yau blobbed grenadiers mathys didn't seem to have a counter to them and it showed. many of the engagements were quickly stifled by either mortar or machine gun. mathys88 wasn't able to counter these quickly or effectively. not sure if it's good play by Yau or a lingering disadvantage for the brits.
King tiger ended it, shame mathys couldn't get the achilles.

Mostly just comp stomps unfortunately, or else I'd probably be able to find a better opponent closer to my skill level than Mathys.  I even see some compstomp games that aren't even patched up to the newest version.

On the RMC, I really think the devs did a good job on it.  The playstyle is a lot lore fun (thats what a game is supposed to be, right?).  The beret spam used to bug me, but I've been able to get around this by changing their animators in the entity_blueprint_ext back to the Tommy.abp models, etc.

Not great games. Just Chancellor doing his typical strat well and mathys making a few mistakes which cost him. Games were kinda short and uneventful. Epic nade was nice but overall these games were a bit boring.

I don't really find there's more people online since the patch, though it isn't too hard to fill a 3v3 when you've got some friends on.

it's kind of gutting that despite all the work,recognition and award coh pvp players still hold some sort of eternal grudge over our v1 release.
Still we'll make another tournament soon 2v2 once we've ironed out the few glitches
