help against CPU

Hi all

First of all, congratulations to the developers of this mod, im really adicted to it.

I have one problem, i only play this game against cpu just like i do with the normal CoH game, but i cant beat the CPU in easy mode.

I read this forum and use some tips and strategies but the only thing i do is delay the inevitable defeat.

As Soviet i got overrun by the mp40 volks mg42 squad and cycle just like cpu dont have manpower cost, then they crush me with sdkf and panzers.

As wher i got overrun by masive infantry spam, conscripts take all points and recluse me in my base. i build swinvagen and volks and die before i can build a second sdkf to replace my poor "full holed" first one.

Also try the strat to build barbed wire around strat points and some resource points but with time both factions crush me

Im not the best player in world but i cant believe i beat the hard cpu in normal CoH and got crushed in eastern front in too little time. I think i have mi mod up to date, but i dont know how to see the version of it.

Latest patch is 1.20 1.23 (me are noob, lols)

The CPU difficulty was upgraded to deal with the uberness of Sweeten's custom Soviet AI... Easy is like Normal, Normal like Hard, etc.

Keep trying. Search the Strategy forum for some advice... if you can find any.

Yeah, i got totally pwned by the C.P.U. when i first played Eastern Front. Which was especially sad since i would play with expert C.P.U. in 1v1 games in vanilla Company Of Heroes. Now i just play with normal C.P.U.s.

I think the best strategy for dealing with the C.P.U. is this: Don't put thermal paste on it before attaching the heat-sink...

Yeah the CPU are far harder in EF than in vanilla CoH, as the Soviets I can just never capture enough points as their infantry just drop like flies :'( Red Banner Streltsky were the only decent counter early game, but now the upgrade costs a whopping 60 manpower per unit! >:(

Anybody know what that is supposed to mean?

It'll kill the processor, won't it? Just a little play on words since people often like to say "C.P.U." instead of "A.I.".

you must have much money if you kill your processor each time you loose

And a temper problem...
