Tank Rider bug?

My tank rider squads (or more specifically the tank itself) do not seem to be able to take territory while riding. I seached the forum to see if that ability has been scrapped or was previously reported, but didn't find anything. It seems to happen on all maps that I play (2v2). The capture icon doesn't even appear. Hope I'm just not missing something big.  ???
