EF Does Not Load

I am new to the forum and hope to find an answer.  My EF has installed ok, it will start from the shortcut and preforms the update check with no problem.  Press the play button and the launcher screen disappears to the task bar and then it jumps to the Relic Crash Report.  I have Windows 7 64 bit with plenty of RAM.  The main CoH game works fine, Eurpoean Theater 44 works fine.  I have installed on my sons machine which is very similar to mine and his works.  I have read alot of the posts but have not found anything similar.

Create a shorcut with this information:

"C:\Games\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev -Eastern_Front -nomovies

Where C:\games should be replaced for your current CoH directory.

It did not change, still goes to the Relic Crash Report.

Could you follow these steps?

1) Check the properties of the installer or download HashTab.

2) Go to properties and check if the size of the file in bytes is 673,571,746. Or if you want to use HashTab check on properties->file hashes and check if the md5 is 7114F2D4C87016F49BAD8F2B37473795.

3) If your installer information is different than the one on step two you need to download the installer again.

The file hashes was differnet.  I reinstalled the full download 1.20 and the file hashes change, but not to the one you sent. This is the number from the file hashes 27995269893B25D3AA035686203E7BCF.

I mean, you need to check the properties of the 1.20 full installer, sorry if i confused you.

The size in bytes of the installer must be 673,571,746(or 673.571.746), as the download page of moddb says. The MD5 of that file (full installer) is 7114F2D4C87016F49BAD8F2B37473795. If the file size isn't equal, you should download it again.

Remember uninstall EF before reinstalling, and make sure all the EF files are wiped out.

Can you try to run CoH or another installed mod to see if it works?

Post warnings.log from "My Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes" RIGHT AFTER A CRASH!

Ok the 1.20 full installer has the same size and MD5 number you show.
