SAS raiders and Marine commandos

are you putting both for brits because the marines were american amd it was Marine Raiders not just commandos. The SAS were brtitish and i dont know too much about them unforutnately but i just wanted to help you these suggestions

Americans don't require a total do-over like the Brits did. Zerst and Dragon have done an excellent job so far but it isn't necessary to change the original game any further.

thats a shame because i think the americans need at least some better engineers to fight  back when ur base is getting raped D:

I think you are right, given the nature of the war in Europe, Marines weren't a logical way to go. After all, Marines are trained in, well, amphibious(spelling?) operations, Marching to Berlin with marines makes no sense. I do know that they were used extensively in the pacific.

well if they are for amphibious operations then i dont see problem why they cant fight in Europe, because US soldiers came to Europe after amphibious attack in Normandy... :P

Europe isnt an Island, its a continent. Also Mulberries were build (temporary harbours) and a pipeline across the English Channel so in Europe US had no logistical problems that marines usually have.

US marines would only make sense in Pacific theater mod.

Pointless to have them in COH/EF's European theater.
