1 LT costs more than a constript squad and a commisar.
You want a commisar unit that costs ~50MP or a constript squad with a commisar that costs more than Guards? ::)

First of all, one man squads suck to try and keep alive. 2nd, the attach ability sucks because the follow mechanic doesn't work too well and he's often left out of the retreat due to not being group selectable - see point 1 for the result of this. Third, no. What's the point?

The only point I see is getting through suppression fire.

They can already run through suppressive fire.

With commissar ANY infantry squad would be able to do that.

ANY infantry already can with heroic charge and For The Motherland. Soviets have enough ways to deal with MG42s already.

Heroic charge is vet1 command squad ability, For The Motherland isn't there from the start.
Anyway, I don't think it's a good idea, nor do I support it, I just made a guess about the point of it.
