Hello EF fans,

A new feature has been added to Eastern Front site, the Donate section.

Eastern Front needs your help to pay it's hosting bill, every dime you can donate counts. The process of the donation is handled 100% automatically by PayPal and us. Within a few seconds your rewards should have been received.


As a donator you will receive the following things, if you donate a minimum amount money required for each of them (stated in brackets). For example, donating 5$ will give you everything that requires 5$ or less.

• Your name in the list below of donators. ($1+)


• Access to the Donators Forum - Things are posted here extra early. For example access to Patch Changelogs earlier then the rest of the community. ($5+)


• Donator's Badge - Have a fancy badge under your name in the forum, everyone will know that you are a donator! ($5+)


• Pre-load Ostheer Patch - Offer only valid for a limited time. ($5+)


• Guaranteed Access to Ostheer Beta - Offer only valid for a limited time. ($15+)

I can override the system if you want, give Mr.Spam Badge back, while you keep your donor privileges.

Well, William is somewhat running out of money. He put out around 500$ so far on the website during the last 4 years. (website is around 130$ per year). So priority one, to pay future payment, priority two, to give William some money back of the 500$ he put out so far.

Right, but what if I have diifferent currency??

Other question: Is there any option of donating your mod via bank transfer?

@Other Currencies

Donating over paypal will automaticly convert the your currency into USD, so let's say in your currency is SEK (mine, Swedish Krona) 1 USD is about 7 SEK. So when I donated 14 USD, it was converted in SEK (I think it was 95 SEK yesterday, would been 98 SEK today) and that amount was withdrawn from my account (95 SEK) and transfered into Williams account (14 USD).

I could check with William, but if you got a Credit or Debt Card (Visa, Mastercard etc) it's really easy to donate with paypal.

the donating 5+ USD allows pre-loading of ostheer, but does that mean that the ostheer are only being released to them?

of course no! Ostheer will be released ASAP, and the donations are doing willingly.

Pre-loading Ostheer basically means that the Ostheer patch will be released like a day or two earlier for these guys. Exact definition will be decided closer to release tbh, it may simply be that you can download it before, but can't play it before (kinda like steam has sometimes).

Just something extra for those that donate 5+, since there are a bunch of things there.

If your donation somehow would get lost (has never happen during the 30+ test nor now 12 live donations), feel free to email me at [email redacted] and I'll look into it. We log almost every little thing, so we can easy make out that your payment, amount etc. Even if it wasn't registered by the website.

If you want to use another badge (eg. Beta Tester Badge instead of Donator Badge (assuming you got access to ostheer beta)) just email me at same email address, or make a post about it in the Donators Forum.

Guys, my net is down! I write from my friend's notebook. I've never used paypal and have troubles with filling all the blanks. Could you, please, print thorough instructions for a "savage russian" like myself (in particular, i couldn't find Russia's index in paypal, and it doesn't seem to take my post office index as a correct zip code).
I really love the mode and would like to add my little donation as a sign of my sincere appreciation of all the work you've done and continue to perform.

I would also be willing to spend 15$ but I have no credit card, only a debit card an a "click and buy" account...

Is there any way to get rid of the gold icon and a huge DONATOR sign?
I mean, I only shared 5$ with you, guys. I feel kind o' immodest if you will.
Besides, it appears to me to be somewhat scaring off other people, who for some reason didn't raise funds, as if those who did have any more right to say something than the rest (which they certainly haven't).
Don't take it too close to the heart, it's just my personal issue, but as for me, I'd prefer to appear as usual, with little donator sign.

Yea, The Donor sign above your Rank line is enough. I only gave 5$ too.

We got a pretty sweet deal, so website is 120$ a year, and 10$ a year for the domain name. So 130$ each year. 500$ is enough to run the website for almost 4 years.
