Star wars thread

Soviet sniper (the hero of SU) is much like jedy, especially if his "one man army" would be changed to 2-3 kills in a row. ;)

I would take a couple unvetted pioneers and some volks squads and kick all rebel butt. whatever they'd throw at me, the germans could take em.

And get blasted by Destroyer Droids.

Yesterday I watched Star Wars II with my sister (yes, lol) and we came to the point, that those movies have a unknown humorous potential.
I'm still waiting for someone entering the forums and moaring for seismic bombs for the Ostheer or something in that category.
Lord Hitler and Darth Göbbels are coming..

Seismic charges are actually a more practical weapon in space,

Teh Ostheer need Super Star Destroyers!

THis topic probably died a LOOONNNGG time ago :( but Im just curious. Does anyone here watch the SW animated series on CN? I happen to like it although I can see why some "classic SW" fans may not :-\. I am particuraly upset by all of my favorite clone troopers dying. Poor Echo and Denal :(

Figured I shouldn't start a new thread. Unless you guys want me 2 ???

I do sometimes, But for the most part i think the animated stuff is really lame. I only watch it when they have old school charaters on it like Bossk, Tarkin, and it was interesting when they had the young Fett on there.

BTW my fav character from SW has to be Maximilian Veers 8)
in all the original movies he was the only one to successfully defeat the rebel alliance (on Hoth)

Well the movies were for the most part on the rebels side :P, portraying the Rebels as heroes almost. So its not surprising that they gave them so many easy wins(Endor + Yavin 4) and made the Empire look like a bunch of jokers :(.

Who gets defeated by teddy bears with sticks+rocks :P How hard could they possibly throw a rock or spear that it penetrates your armor :-\

Wow this thing sure died in a hurry  :'(

Anyone collect any SW toys? I do (sometimes) and Im not really sure why they changed the visors for the clones ??? .

may be they decide to let you feel that the 'old' visors are more advanced than those in clone war ???

I want my newer visors back :'(. But I see your point :P

I had a couple when I ways younger (im sure I still have them somewhere), they were both the same scale of TIE fighter and TIE Bomber models, around 1/32 scale I think. Another I have is a little die cast B-wing

Yes, with my cousin I fought epic battles  :D

The problem is they keep falling down :'(. Unless you have mini stands ;D

the older figures stood pretty well...

Here you can see models of Tie Interceptor, Tie Bomber, Darth Vader's Tie Advance (with damaged wing), X-Wing and Snowspeeder.



This is a big size reproduction of the legendary Millenium Falcon



These are big models (in the same scale og the Falcon) of Tie Fighter, Naboo Fighter and Tatooine Desert Ship.



These are movie characters, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Imperial Pilot and Tatooine Marauder.
On the back there is a Forest Speeder of the Imperial Scouts.
This characters can be used inside the previous big battleship.



Again movie characters, Luke Skywalker (Pilot and Tatooine versions) and Han Solo (Hoth Base version).



These are the places where I fought epic battles with my armies against my cousin and his armies :) .
The Death Star and the big Hoth Base are from the Action Fleet Collection (if you open the Death Star there's a reproduction of it, with hangar, Emperor's Room etc..).
The small Hoth Base and the 2 heads (if open you can see Death Star in the Trooper head and the Commercial federation Ship in the Droid one) are from Micr Machines Collection.



These are some models from Micro Machine Collection (except the two Speedere that are from Action Fleet).



These are movie characters with Speaking Chip; putting the toy on the Chip you can hear some phrases. Here the Quenn Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Battle Droid.
Also Luke Skywaker in Endor version.
In front of them, some models from Micro machine Collection.



And these are my PC Videogames (but I'm sure to have some more hides in my room).
Unfortunately they can't be used on my PC (except SW Battlefront) because they're incompatible with 64 bit.

IMG it's the button under the big B on writing page.
YourImage it's the link at the image that you want to post.

Umm what do you mean link to image. All I know is I have a picture in my picture folder :P. What do I do then ???

You need to upload your pic to a host server like tinypic, imageshack, majhost or photobucket.

I finally got my (long overdue) SW pics up. :) Any questions just ask. I have alot of recent SW toys so if you want any more pics feel free to inquire :D I also have alot of clones cause they appeal to me ;D. I also have an AT-TE and SW lego if you wanna see that :P. I had battle droids but didn't take pics :P

Like Desert_Fox I didn't take pictures of all my SW stuff, just some cause if I did, I'd have them after Halloween :-X

An AT-AT walker I got on sale at toys'r'us. There are stormtroopers in the stomach, head, and butt of this thing :P



Some boobleheads and mighty muggs. They're like statues but they move, look pudgy, and they're funner ;D ;D



Some red clones. I like the color red :P



These are a mix of rebels and misc.  :P Cause the imperials need something to shoot ;D



Some blue clones. Part of the 501st :)



Finally some clones from 38th armor batalion. Think of them as Tank riders ;D

The gray one is a T-34, the green one is a Sherman IV, and the tan one is suppose to be a Tiger but it looks like a Panzer IV :P.

Only the Panzer IV has its treads intact b/c "Only the best in german engineering!"

Yes and no :P. Its targeted audience is children and teenagers. But it also allows people to continue watching SW and not have to wait for books or simply re watch old movies.

It also depends on what show you watch. For a while season 3 sucked really bad. Then it got SLIGHTY better. The start of Season 4 wasn't too great IMO. Season 1 was the best IMO :P

CW allows us to expand our understanding and imagination of the SW realm while giving us fun animations to watch.

Oh come on guys. The animated series is meant for children :P I think most adults expectations are too high. Especially with recent developments in technology. It makes CW series seem less impressive :(

I always enjoyed the SW books
especially the ones written by timothy zahn and michael stackpole
even today i sometimes read one

No but I have SW: Battlefront 1 (im trying 2 get #2) and Republic Commando :D. But both games are fun inbalanced and quite frankly retarted at times IMHO. It doesn't help the devs at SW are to busy making new games rather than fixing old ones and expanding on it ::)

And I know you specific guys dont like SW the CW but for everyone else: New episode today :P. Apparently about slaves ???

atm there is a deal on steam for battlefront 2 it is 4.99 buy it...
