Whats your favorite COH faction?

Hey there i just wanna know whats your favorite faction? please explain why this faction is your favorite choice, and what is it that makes this specefic faction your favorite choice of play?

Hey there Snug, mine is kind of a strange choice as I rarely play them in the game, but in real life I am interested in their history and military equipment/vehicles (particularly their 80's period) and a bit of a collector. So I voted Soviet Union.

But ingame I tend to go for America with the Airborne strategy.

I like them all ;D!!! But I prefer SU and PE. As i cannot choose both I'll keep with SU.

My favorite faction is the Panzer Elite, i think its because they represent the elite of the evil  ::), cool units like Fallschrimjaegers, mp44 squards and such. I like the play style of an PE agressive and fast.

Wehr mainly for the Tiger I and Wuhrfarren Rockets (halftrack) :P, PE and SU tied 2nd

Wehrmacht for it's complexity of gameplay...but I like also USA. :D

i voted soviets cause nothing is better than a huge bulk of
infantry and some vetted su85(my second most likeable
faction is brits) also somebody check the easternfront wiki
something bad happened to soviet unit table

i mostly prefer to play usa.. with airborne or armor..
especially in EF, because of the sherman 105 and the jumbo..
otherwise i'd choose PE or wehr or actually any one of the factions, after usa i like every faction..

Wehrmacht, because playing Defensive against the Soviets in a war of attrition is just sooo fun.  ;) 2nd and 3rd place goes to PE Scorched Earth and PE Luftwaffe.

i voted PE
cause they are a bit underpowered (vs Brit and US) and i love underdogs
i also like US, but i hate British (boring, OP, slow,weird.....)

I also like US and PE becouse of their different upgrades.
I like using Supply Center upgrade or fieldcraft (capping speed) and booby traps to overproduce my oponent in a long attrition game. Im not saing that I allways use them, I just like using them.

I like British. Coz my country was under British before ^^. Well in CoH i like British because i like their Anti-Tank Gun 17 Pounder and  PIAT. Adding on, British can move their base here and there. Well i normally hide at Allied base ( USA or SU ) ^^

Also, They have the abilities to build trenches. But sadly US cant build foxhole in CoH.

The thing i dislike British is the Infantry, Walking very SLOW i enemy area.

Come on, you got to love what they scream out?

PE have better toys, particularly the 88 guns.
Luftwaffe über alles. Literally.  ;)

Yeah!!! The Germans are excellent toymakers.

I like all the factions, but mostly the PE. Their veterancy system is just great and Marders, G43s, Hummels...who couldnt love them? :P

Game-wise, wermaht is pretty cool (unlike the real life),
however, I prefer the Red Army.
That has nothing to do with me being russian. It's just that I'm tired of vanilla CoH all the way, along with all it's factions. ;)

Between the 4 official armies, they are all very close in my opinion. (Can't judge the Soviets because they are locked, and Ostheer because they absent.) But i'll have to say Wehrmacht, because i find they are the easiest to tech up with (F1-E, F1-E, F1-E...)

Soviets are not locked. They are only accessible in skirmish and multiplayer modes.  ;)
Locks go for campaigns, due to the version of the game, you're using. I.e., you bought "Opposing fronts", then all 3 ToV campaigns will appear with red locks in your main menu.

No, the Soviet button in the tutorial wouldn't work, there is no Soviet campaign button, and there's a padlock next to them in skirmish. If i try to select them, i get the lovely message "you cannot use the Soviet army". It's so fucking frustrating, because i absolutely love this mod!

That happens because you need to update CoH to 2.601.

Yeah, i read that somewhere here. I honestly don't know why. I have like the worlds shittiest Internet connection, so i am unable to download just about anything (except for pictures), and i also can't play any multiplayer games. Majorly sucks. ...So is it ironic that your highest donor hasn't even played as the Soviets?

Anyway, i think that's enough off-topicness for now...

PE... G43 and incendiary grenade...and THE POWERFUL kettenrad  8) i love that bike!!!
