EF wont play?

how do i update company of heroes?

Hi joe, and welcome to the forums.  Are you trying to add EF to the version of CoH that you got on a retail DVD set?  You should find that when you logon that it tells you there are updates, and the game will download and install for you then restart.  From my original DVD there are heaps of patches so the process takes quite a while.  After a few updates you'll get to a version that installs a peer-to-peer bittorrent client which can make further updates faster.  After the last one is applied you'll be able to logon to multiplayer games.  At that point your CoH is ready and you can exit, and install EF, and all should be well.

i downloaded it onto a cd.all 3 COH (...ive tried updating the patch to 2.601 exe it doesnt update no instructions come up. ive uninstalled EF and now back to the start

Do you have a pirate version of coh?

i traded a another game with my mate with this COH. great game...
i no nothing bout that the cover isnt the original but talks bout torrent a lot.

You should only need to run and it would patch automatically , If not I recommend searching the internet ( There might be some on 'the patches scrolls.com')

you can download them from the official site, http://cohpatch.relic.com/ with your favorite torrent client.

You will know from what patch will start depending of the CoH game you have or if you can access the main menu in the bottom-center of the screen appears the version, remember to patch up to 2.601.

when you run the patch is there any instructions that should pop up?

Instructions? what do you mean?

just click on next until finish the job, be aware that some patches will require more time to deploy than others.

He means installer , there should be Joe,

oh so you need an installer to work patches? where do i get an installer?

Could you post a screenshot of the file you're trying to run? ???

Yes, Vuze, µTorrent or any other torrent client you prefer. The files just stores information about the patch, tracker lists, size of the file, etc.

When you open the file with the torrent client it'll ask if you want to download the file, repeat for each patch you need, when it finish to download them you now will be able to run them.
