MY game's problem

1-I installed company of heroes tales of valor
2-Downloaded patches...
3-I installed the mod,clicked the luncher
4-It says "eastern front mod doesnt appear to be installed in your system"
5-I dont have steam version of ToV,it is in D\programfiles\thq...
6-Can someone please help me..

(I tried reinstalling the game but it says the same...)

After the error window closes i click play and it says "unable to locate company of heroes directory"..

Can you check this?
Open Regedit (Windows Key + R -> Enter regedit).

Do they exist? What's the info inside it?

Could you export it(right click over it's folder) and upload it here? if the extension isn't allowed change from reg to txt or add them to a zip file.

Your file system seems to be ok, do you installed Company of Heroes or is a backup* deployed?


*backup deployed: when you copy some directory to another place to avoid deleting and moving again to the previous folder some time after.

I installed Tales of Valor it is not back up.

I have a doubt about some file of your CoH directory, what's the full name of the file "Uninstall_E..."?

Also were you changing files of the CoH directory? You have "My Mod" folder, smells like corxis, do you installed previously any other mods or tried to edit CoH or EF?

I recomend to reinstall ToV, uninstall EF first then ToV, check that all the files are wiped out. After that install ToV, update it to 2.601 and install EF 1.20 and update it as well.

OK Thank you for your help i'll try these...i can't start my mod either,it doesn't see my mod i guess like it doesn't see the eastern front mod..

And for the uninstall it is this:"D:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\Uninstall_English.exe"

You'll have to reinstall because looks like that all the necessary folders aren't there. I was going to post my old picture yesterday but i didn't find it till now; and i rather to post some evidence to demonstrate my point when possible.

I had OF but since OF full patched equals to ToV full patched(excluding by the locked content, but files and folder wise).

Lol... now I seen my OF picture that's the name of the Retail uninstaller.
