I Feel Betrayed...

Well my friend just downloaded the CoH Open Beta, and I think he's playing it right now. You actually have to use money to buy upgrades for your troops in the game. Your troops keep the upgrade rather than in each game. All of the US campaign missions are included, and there's a Wehrmacht Campaign as well I believe. I feel betrayed by buying a game, where people are now getting free, and not to mention mods wont probably work on this. I know someone posted something like this before and I didn't take it seriously but now I am. Please list your opinions below, I would greatly appreciate that.

I feel the same, at first was curious and I was going to install it, but my curiosity just fade away... and at the end I didn't used or even installed it.

Quite frankly I don't give a **** about CoH:O. But I hope that the CoH dev team release a patch fixing some issues that would benefit all the CoH community before they forget that CoH once existed...

it lucks like they eliminate balance once more
and the fuck up strategies by making you decide your doctrin before the round starts....

the worst part is that people who spend real money on it get crazy advantages (like in betafield heroes)
most free to play games work like that

Relic isn't stuiped and a bunch of idiots, they just want money. I can bet you they try, but we hate them for not trying enough.

BK mod forums believe this is a set up for CoH 2 . Im not sure though.

There're a lot of complains about CoH:O balance, looks like axis were nerfed and allies buffed, they just blob until win.

I was going to play a couple of matches of CoH:O but i changed my mind after visiting the official forum.

Off-topic but I don't know why ImperialDane wasn't called to be moderator. I don't think he made a terrible job. Perhaps because they wanted to bury all their past ;).

to me this is gonna look like the first PC from relic that i'm not looking foward to which is kinda disapointing because I've loved ALL of relics PC games so far and I've really held them in high esteem.

It does everything to increase profits, even completely ruin a game >:(... I personally do not take it.
It 's a crap. :-X

FIFA Football Online is similar but with real money buy them accessories beauty (second uniforms, shoes etc ...) that do not determine the outcome of the match, but on CoH upgrades make the difference.
