What will be Eastern Front Next Faction after Ostheer?
I am curious to ask~.

For me i will guess the Italian Army Join the Battle, I played Panzer Phase there is 1 mission that Soviet or Italian Army Fought before

I don't think this'll happen.

By that time the majority of CoH players will have moved on anyway. Maybe you'll see this in a CoH 2? The campaigns will come before a 3rd or 4th faction anyway.

Am sorry to say, but I think this mod will die before the devs have time to make a 3rd and 4th fraction.

The 'death' of this mod has been predicted so many times already. Eastern Front will continue to be supported long after the Ostheer release; we have already proven our capability for genuine and consistent support over the last 8 months.

Ill bet you a dollar that it will die a few mouths after the campaigns  ;)

Yes but long enough to pump out a few extra, UNPLANNED, factions after entire campaigns have also been done? I'm not so sure warty. If the EF playerbase is still active you'll probably just be around for balance issues and new reward units rather than entire new factions that don't even fit into EF like Italy.

I wouldn't be quitting if the mod died... you'd be quitting :P

Because they would disappoint thousands of people who love this mod, and themselves, for working so hard on something only to throw it away. I'm sure Michelangelo was painting the roof of the Sistine chapel and thought to himself, "Shit, this is hard work" but it didn't make him quit. At least they'd be rid of the forum trolls  ;).

I just think it's not likely that more factions will ever be implemented past the Ostheer.

Oh, and yes - EF is as good or better than the roof of the Sistine chapel.

Your right, hurray EF! If they mod dies, I swear ill probably be the last one to post. Now that I think of it, am a Die-Hard Fan of EF.

We enjoy working on EF, and seeing your little chubby faces all happy and smiling like its Christmas every time we post an update is worth all the unpaid man hours in the world 8)

What a character. With the balance changes to Wehr, USA and Brits, I think you will see more COH die hards coming to EF. If there willing to give up their 3 shot cloaked paks and roos. Ive left COH several times but i always come back, best game ever made next to bf1942.

On the actual subject, we'll continue to support and make content for our two factions, but will not be creating any other new factions.

This thread's had some serious dev attention.

I've actually came back to CoH becuase of this mod. It is and excellent mod with changes that really make the game more fun to play. Especially with the red army addition.

Now I'm really eager to see what the devs here do with ostheer faction.

That's why I never believe the lottery. An honest day's worth of work is what makes life worthwhile.

there are 3 games i've played from the start of the franchise, and still do
Battlefield
EA Skate
and Coh
coh is still my favourite ^^
i've never stopped playing it in all these years
and looking at the future, i will probably till coh2
with the prospect of the ostheer, the great war 1918 mod and the modern combat mod.

i love this mod
i brought all my friends to play it and i love the balance changes!!
