EF effects on COH (basic and automatch)

Hey folks of EF!
In my first post I have to thank the developers of this awesome mod first, that's a given. So thanks guys! :)

The problem however is, that my normal COH automatch is like the EF one (only 1 player is showing). And all the basic matches are in a greyish color, saying I have "incompatible options" (don't know if I can join).

What happened here? I have 2.601 and the latest EF patch 1.23 installed. I only changed the language for the axis and allies, so everyone speaks their proper language...other than that, everything as initially installed.

Thanks a lot for help!

Re: EF effects on COH (basic and automatch)

You only can play with people that use EF. That's why the filter is enabled, if you disable it you'll recieve all the people that play vCoH and other mods online. Of course you can't play with neither of them. You are playing an unofficial expansion, it's not supported by relic in that field.

If you wnat to play online, you can check on Play CoH mods channel (I don't remember well its name) or try to set up games using the forum as rally point.

Ok, I worded my problem not good enough. These problems occur when I start the normal, non EF, Company of Heroes!
Thanks for the quick answer!

Oh... Do you know if your CoH establish a connection with the server (green light) or not at all(yellow/red light).

Do you use community skins?

Re: EF effects on COH (basic and automatch)

Sounds like you edited one of your CoH Files. The EF Installers does not alter any Vanilla CoH Files. If you use steam try using "Verify game cache".

Mhh...As I said, I only altered the sound files for the different fractions. I don't use steam and my connection is green, although normal coh sometimes needs some restarts to get it (verifying media and that).

Wait...checking...yes! I test it without -dev and report back!
Yap, it works, I thought I used it to get the the new custom maps winners to work... thanks for the help!
