i was able to fix it like this pretty easilly, looks much nicer than reusing the british mg nest

Looks much better, but isn't that the Sniper's nest from the ToV mission Falaise Pocket?

It was going to be a model mix, but I don't know what happened.



Personally, I would prefer a custom model.

I like it...it's mix of USA-Sniper's nest  :)

I think that both of them looks better, but the flag looks weird.

Yeah, without the flag the hybrid one looks good.

The sandbags look outta place though...

I would rather wait for a custom model than having a hybrid.

I prefer this than the current one :P.

Though I doubt that they had Russians MGs like that... ever...

I'd rather want to talk about mechanics change... I mean, these bunkers better be like American ones (with unkillable gunners), since Soviets can't recrew.

A new MG nest model would be nice, but I'm not too fussed about it

Russian MG nest is build for long hard defence. Usually, defence line, if having MG nest - it's hard hitting fire point.

Soooo, youre saying you want the Russians to have the ability to make MGs ONLY in hills??.....Not very tactical in a CoH sense

No. I said, ... what if the russians can make usual MG nest & heavy fortified defence point?

Have you ever considered that a faction is not supposed to have 'every option under the sun' and have weaknesses on purpose which encourage a certain play style?
If not, consider it......

I believe my friend the heavily fortified defended point would be the Outpost, that already exists in game. We can even garrison troops in there.

On a further note, the Stalin Line was foolishly abandoned by the Red Army when they started building Molotov's Line. Because just like the Germans, Stalin was preparing for an OFFENSIVE WAR. So the line would have no value in the Soviet Army we are attempting to represent.

Oh and Zerstörer , he is Russian, so like most of those people who want to see their nation in the game, he wants to see his nation represented in every possible way.

Thats why I'm kinda pissed because every time a newcomer appears, they come in screaming, "I want this because they don't have it", or "they should have this because my understanding of history is SOOOOO much better than the guys who made this mod"

Can we perhaps create what I suggested earlier, when a person creates an account, they are automaticly redirected to a special page that explains the entire Soviet faction, what is not in there, and what we will not add. Kinda like a guide that i heard u guys were working on.
