Seeme :(

Seeme can not access the Eastern Front Site NOR reinstall the EF download OR patch. He says he can't even get on the domain.

I'm afraid we lost a valuable forum member. Can we do ANYTHING about this? He's one of my favorite team mates too (No offense to you others, you guys are awesome too ;))

But really, can ANYONE suggest ANYTHING? :( :(

Yeah, I talked to him on CoH today!!! He thinks that probably his IP got banned :-\...

Did he installed and antivirus or a parental control software? Can he log in at another place besides his home?
Perhaps someone is doing an evil deed... :(

If it's IP ban, which I doubt, he could use a proxy web site to try access, but I recommend use -0.2.9.exe]this

Tor... well it could be called proxy, just installs it and when starts firefox you should click on the bottom-left corner label titled "Enable Tor" or something like that to start it. When he start it all the previous tabs open will cease to work until closed or turn off Tor. All the new open tabs will only work correctly when Tor is active.

If you have contact with him can you tell that? Specially the antivirus and stuff part.

I was getting this the other day, where I couldn't access the forum or use the auto update. In fact, the updater crashed every time it tried to access the EF site. I thought it was due to the traffic on the site just before the tourney. It gave a message like "the server is unavailable" on firefox.

WE MUST GET SEEME BACK! NOT ONE MAN LEFT BEHIND!

Hmm well this is the first time I've heard about anything like this happening in so many applications, I can't see that he has received any form of ban here.

Sooo my guess is it's something he has done on his end, particularly with the updater issue, dodgy software he has acquired from somewhere perhaps.

What Hawk said - the forum would tell him if he'd been banned, which he hasn't.

He's just messed up somewhere with something he's installed.

But no this was no Joke, I could'nt connect to the website and then Cranielwizad suggested that to reinstall when I realised that I couldn't do that. So I did some things with my comp and now its working.

I have Xfire now, my user-name is called seeme2 I think, and if that dosent work try Seeme/Retake.
