Plz Help 'Fatal Error Scar Error'

Every time i play EF and any player in the game is Soviet, i get this "Fatal Error Scar Error-Execution Paused"
it wont unpause. i updated patches, restarted computer.
running in windows vista 64.
but I can install it to Win7 32 bit.

Someone there can help ya, not sure what this error is.

That means:
"someone messed up with the EF files, until you restore them I'll make you quit your games on EF :P".

Do you modified the files on EF?
It could be a name changed of a folder or file. Or a Corxis' change ::)....

Which version do you have of EF and CoH? Could you post a screenshot of your launcher?

nope  inever altered the file. just installed it normally.
i have the latest 2.6.1 or whgatever it is. should i re install?

You need to make sure your base CoH is patched to 2.601 and then install EF 1.2 full, before doing the incremental updates until you get to 1.23.

Install the latest COH patch and EF patches in order as they appear..

It should work fine

Try reinstalling Eastern Front. If you don't have the lattest full version, you can download it from here.

After installing update by the launcher and check that the updates are installed in the correct path.

Perhaps you unwillingly skip an update (i.e. 1.21->1.22 and installed 1.21->1.23), therefore, the files are "incorrect".

my COH is up to date. im currently download ing EF1.20. first download was EF1.1. Could that be it? and withn the updates, i just clicked "check for updates" on the EF launcher. and proceeded how it told me

Sometimes, between major changes (i.e. 1.0/1.01/1.02... -> 1.10, 1.10 -> 1.20) something wrong could happen, sometimes windows doesn't like to share its files, and this is more evident over vista and 7. That's why if a new full version is released, and if you have bugs after the autoupdate, it's recommended to download the new full version.
