different game modes

now, it may just be me, but Ive always wanted an option for an infantry only game style, so the game focuses a bit more on micro, and hard/soft countering, rather than a tech race to tanks.  That's probably just me, but if it would be possible i think a lot of people would be happy for an infantry only option.

Also are the soviets going to be added to operations?  the only one i kind of care about is stonewall, i just think it would embody the kind of gameplay that stonewall is, you know, waves of russians sweeping over the retreating wehrmacht army.

I'm sure these will probably come with enough time. But that time is better spent completing the Ostheer for now.

NO,NO,NO,NO,NO! Once again, another allied benefit gameplay type. Germans rely heavily on vehicles to win the game, take that away...GG Germany. Downright horrible idea. Allies play as tanks support the infantry...Germans play the opposite: Infantry supports the vehicles.

We can change the game a little to make it more balanced, German hater. Like lower cost for German troops or make a new unit to help fight the allies. Plus dosent PE have mainly inf?

Well Fukgermans, I see you whining like a spoiled child, but not offering any better ideas... Why not close your mouth and keep it that way unless you have a better idea. Personally I think there is a great idea here. I would love to see more complexity that just a horde of tanks. I can almost always win using only German infantry. The fact that your complaining just means you don't play the game very well! Try a different tactic before you call someones idea horrible. Cheers!  :P

Calm down comrades ;). It's just an idea. In either case, Devs didn't said a word yet, but probably won't be implemented.

They've already added the no pop gamemode, why not add this for the people that want it. Time is better spent doing other things though so it would be a very low priority.

Germans absolutely do NOT need vehicles to win. You've been playing too many vire river valleys. Vet grens + MG42s are death to all. The thing the Wehrmacht has to worry about in midgame is actually the M8 which they must ALWAYS buy a Pak for. If they didn't have to worry about this MP deficit they would have quite an advantage at this stage.

I don't really see this gametype working well though. Americans have monolithic upkeep and would get punished heavily for blobbing. PE would be able to build one unit all game.

And yes, I agree with the fact Germans can win w/o vehicles, but it would be very costly and very hard, the German reinforcement is rediculously high, as are the German units. And I HATE bridge maps, "Mcgechans War" and "Rails and Metal" are my choice of maps. We should play sometime brother. Test out our theories. :)

It would be Okay to give your opinion, but right now your being idiot. So ok, we know you hate it, just stop already.

All the current balance would be meaningless if you create a mod of this type. Obviously, if Devs implement it, they would create a different balance for this mod and seeing that this thread has becoming a flame war I close it :P.
