Update for the guide

When I first came to EF I found the guide a great help, the problem is that it has not been updated since beta.
I think it would be easier for new players to get into the mod if the guide got an update.

1: Remove the info about no retreat and already veterans.
2: Add pictures for the tanks
3: Bring the doctries and upgrades up to date.
4: Under the fluff text of all unit, buildings and upgrades you should have the price and a short description off the units roll on the battlefield.
5: Write down how many CP all the doctrines cost.
6: Add the tactic maps of all EF maps.
7: in the buttom of the page their should be a link to another guide that mention all the change to the old factions.

I thought at the same thing a few days ago ... you're right it's time to updated it. ;)

agree, i think many newcomers would be happy for an up to date guide.

I guess it will happen, soon anytime.

If you try make one, i think the DEV's ell have a look.

That one was Propaganda, they're planning on one that isn't Propaganda atm.,

The SU-85 is the main Assault Gun and Tank Destroyer of the Soviet Army. It's Armour and 85mm Gun give it Penetration that can rip Through a Panzer IV.

We are working on a more permanent and versatile solution, which could turn out to be rather interesting.

If it's something similar to CoH-stats I will be immeasurably happy.

I was discussing this last week with Dragon actually, rest assured something is being done... You will just have to wait and see.

After Soviets got Vet they should have retreat. Period.

Back on-topic: well we, translators, already know what's this "more permanent and versatile solution" is  ::)

i agree the guide needs to be updated
to today's patches involving doctrines,units and tanks
also i think we should
consider creating more artwork to feed the souls of the fans
and i suppose when the devs finish the mod we should
release a booklet like the original of the company of heroes booklet with concept art and guide about the units and everything of the mod 8)

A mouth ago I tried to redo the guide. I stopped cause I thought the devs were making a better one. Mabey I can work on it again, I don't know. 

I am working on portions of the new guide right now. Seeme, keep your ideas written down somwhere, I'm sure they might come in handy.

Yeah my computer has been dead for a few months but now I've been borrowing someone elses temporarily. Still can't return to 'full' duties quite yet though.

That's good...  :) Hmm, how about integrating the best strategies and troubleshooting tips from the other threads into the guide as well?

Mine's almost done, but I'm adding more information as well as the maps.
