Trouble with version number and launcher

Hello!

First of all I must say I love this mod! Keep it up!

But I have now encountered some problems and need help.

I try to play EF with my friend but we don't have the same version and we've both patched it to the latest version!? Is there any way to check which version you have installed atm? Or how should it be installed (sources and patches in which order would be great to know).
The one I can find is the one of original CoH, and the launcher keep telling me it's 1.0 no matter what I install.

I also wonder if the "Check for updates" function in the launcher works? It just tells me that the remote computer couldn't be found.

Please help me, I love this mod and want to play it with my friends.

Do you patched up CoH till 2.601?

Can you post a screenshot of your EF launcher?

Yeah I will in a bit, I just uninstalled it all and re-downloaded and installed 2010-08-01-EF_Setup[IP address redacted]_FULL.exe

So which patch is the next to be installed? Will it do with just the latest or do I have to install them all in order?

I'm so embarassed! sorry guys but I downloaded the version found at piratebay.org. Seemed to be real old, the new launcher updates and everything :)
I just gonna try if the game works fine also hehe ;)

Yeah it's funny, I thought I saw a long list of mirrors and piratebay.org was one of them offering a torrent download.

Well my frustration grew with the launcher not showing which version I had hehe, no wonder it didn't work since I played 1.0 or something.

Thanks tho for a really nice mod, looking forward to see the german eastfront units :)
