I just wanted to say good job to the dev team for this achievement, especially to kamikaza, who did an incredible job with the animations, despite constant harassment from myself.  ;)

Last time I looked at about 4pm GMT, we were at 649 views. Now we are at... 1,846 (today) 6 hours later. Over a thousand people have peered in in the last 6 hours. Talking about a mod that is still an Alpha and has no release date and no public playable content, thats quite and achievment... the top mod has only 700 views over us today and that has been released! I feel quite guilty acctually... we're stealing all the glory from Relic, who when the finally get round to releasing an Eastern Front expansion, will have people saying "Been there, done that... give us an alternate history version with Orcs!"

I have a good feeling that another update SOON, could push us up and over the bar ;)

Absolutely fantastic. Cant wait to see other tanks such as the Panzer III, Klim or the 85 barreled Sotka. :)

Will COH:EF also house the other turret type from 1943 for the T-34/76?

It's the mod42 turret and that's the one being used

The other is mod 41 and it's worse

Flippis, you are thinking of the "Mickey Mouse" turret (T-34/76D). This will not be included, but you will be able to upgrade the T-34/76, to a T-34/85.

Wait. Are you saying that's the best tank EVER in world history? Because if you are. That's not true. The M1 Abram or the British Challenger (I believe) would probably be the best tanks in the world ever.

I think he meant like best MBT in that time. And today its probably the german lepoard.

No way! Challenger 2 is best tank ever: it has chobham armour mk2 which has not been pierced yet! Besides which the main gun is rifled, unlike leopard and abrams, so it's more accurate and the aiming systems are some of the best in the world.

But the gun of leopard 2 and abrams is more effectiv.
You can't say this is the best one, because they never fight against each other.

Idk... Look at the combat record of the Abram. It is beastly/godly. If I had to be in a tank that I trusted with my life. It would definetly be an Abram hands down.

No way! Mark IV is the absolute best tank ever and ever! no tanks ever and ever culd destroy the Mark IV its just inpossible no modern tank culd!

Yeh abrams is no prize picker, ha been destroyed buy outdated export version of T-72, and RPG's and IED's.

I dont know much about the challanger 2.

But I still think the german lepoard and russian t-90 is better. Maybe t-90 is the best if you only go after the test scores. Cause t-90 has the record in accuracy and speed of shooting, while going in about 30km/h. Think it got 7 targets, the lepoard witch is second got 6.

well testscores often work in that way that you ignore the bad rsults and ceep testing until it does something good and publish that.

but in conclusion, lets just say the top 4 tanks are (in no particular order.) Challanger, Leopard, T-90, Abrams.

I think we can all agree that the Leopard, Challenger, and the Abram are probably the best period. They all have there pros and cons.

A few Challengers have been damaged by enemy fire, only 1 has been destroyed and that was a blue on blue. I makes you realise that no tank is invincible, even with all the amazing high tech, cutting edge technology it boasts, underneath its still as penetratable as a tin of beans.

I'm torn over which is the best. Abrams is cost effective, Challenger is heavily armoured and the Leopard for its mobility. I would have put the Guns into play here, but since the Abrams and the Leopard use the same gun and soon the Challenger is going to be sporting this beauty as well, theres no point :P

See. Exactly my point. That all have what makes them good. Now if you put all of them together and made a Chaleoram. You'd have one sexy tank.
