Death before disshonour?

this is not realy a cuestion it's just me being curious on how normal i am :D

in a fps game (CoD5 for example) in most Ivan/Fritz maps there are thanks, and its ideal to use a class. now no one with a sane mind would run straight out infromt a enamy tanks... or will he? when i play CoD5 and see an enemy tank i dont hessitate i get a schatchel ready and sprint right at it throgh two at him and BOOM! no more tank no more TheAllMightyOne (unless i am behind the tank i go into a hiding spot before dettonating) the tanks are realy dangerus and it helps the team allot if a enemy one gets killed, would any one do as i did? sacreface yourself for the team? (this tactic never fails XD i allways get atlest one kill if not the tank then myself and any infantery close it).

no try out a strategy game. (CoH for example) you have for example an airborne squad, u got only two guys left and are facing a panther with bellow half in health, do you through a schatchel and kill the tanks and probebly die yourself or retreat with your squad? i would definetly take the tank with me to the grave. (to make things more interesting imagine there are two tanks so if u destroy one of them the other one will kill your troops)

WHAT would you do  ???

Especially with glider troops, this happens a lot to me, but I try to retreat unless there's no chance... It's a good tactic but no so good against kt

ok here is another death before disshonour scenario brought from CoD5:
you and your enemy are each in cover taking turns shooting at eatch other, when sudenly! your enemy get the bright idea to through a granade at you. the granade is just next to you but if you sprint across a open area to another cover the granade wont kill you (but the enemy and his friends will probably do) so u can eather run for safty or try and toss the granade back (<- nothing i would do :D) at this point i just got one thought in my head: REVENGE!!! so i just through a stickybomb at my enemys direction and 3 sec after my own death i have brought my killer with me to the grave. 

What would you hve done? the normal stuff as run or toss the granade back or take countermessure as i did.  ???
