Panzerkrieg-Rus and Ost tank

I have one small idea. How about to add in operation panzerkrieg one russian and one Ostheer tank. Russian tank should be t-34 and Ostheer tank should be pz3.

Re: Panzerkrieg-Rus and Ost tank

Well, if we did a Panzerkrieg [GREAT IDEA BTW] I think we could tell who'd kick who in a T34VPZIII. So maybe...

PanzerII
PanzerIII
TigerI
Elefant

V.

T70
T34/76
IS2
ISU-152

Re: Panzerkrieg-Rus and Ost tank

We discussed an EF Panzerkrieg. One of the ideas was to add a 'Super Heavy' class to the existing three vanilla classes, which would be ISU-152 for Allies and Elefant for Axis.

Re: Panzerkrieg-Rus and Ost tank

When u will add super heavy class, nobody will play with normal tanks. U must add tanks which are similar to tanks in PK.

PS Have u ever seen that Hotchkiss destroyed ISU-152?

i think that will be balanced. not everyone plays the e.g. panther. the superheavy tank will surely be quite slow and have other disadvantages ;)

but a question for the devs:
would it be possible to add the soviets and later the ostheer as chooseable factions for the panzerkrieg op?

The only problem with this is that units in Panzerkrieg are turreted, so that the Direct Fire ability turns the turret and not the whole tank, so it would be the IS-2 and <something from Ostheer>.

The other idea would be (i'm guessing) making a Panzerkrieg where you actually choose a faction rather than only having one team with units from that side.

Re: Panzerkrieg-Rus and Ost tank

First of all, Panther is medium tank, not heavy. PK is totally rebalanced. Only that panther is killing Sherman with five or six shots is funny and now u want to add biggest monsters of WW2 ? I say it will be unbalanced or it will be big big joke.

Re: Panzerkrieg-Rus and Ost tank

In Panzerkrieg, there is currently 3 types of tanks:

Light: Hot and Hell
Medium: Pz4 and M4
Heavy: Panther and Churchill

I guess you can call the "heavy" ones for "Heavy-Medium".

@Topic

Problem is that the commander loadout only support 3 commander trees = only 3 tanks.

As Dave said, if we add it would be with "Super Heavy" (heavy according to real types I guess). Something in the lines of ISU and Elephant.

Re: Panzerkrieg-Rus and Ost tank

And what about making replacement, like reward unit? Let's say that replace Churchill with T/34 or Hellcat with T-70? Still three tanks... :D
