FIFA World Cup 2010

I haven't seen many post about it here. I know I am watching it. It's historic because it's the first WC on the Africa Continent.

I love the sport of Futbol, and if you are from Africa, Europe, or South America, you should be watching it! :P

Just to say, in Group F, Italy tied to Paraguay, the only threat, yesterday, 1 to 1.

Hehe Cranial we are in same group with you too :) Slovakia... but in our country soccer players suck badly, we are more ice hockey nation than football. I do not have much faith in our players there so I do not watch it, only check the results.

I don't know. The main battle in our group is Slovakia and Paraguay. We all tied so far, so that's who the main battle is over. New Zealand is going home 100%. I don't even KNOW how they Qualified for the WC. Italy will most likely move on because they can swamp NZ and most likely annihilate Slovakia. It's kinda ironic how they make the groups, they take the top teams, and then they random the rest of them.

Lol this tournament is full of surprises :) but head coach of Slovakia team is so stupid redneck that it is impossible to expect something then:

In our country we have saying: "The fish stinks from its head." meaning then what can we expect from poor players with such leadership...

He cant be compared to Raymond Domenech (the french coach)... Fortunaly, he's going to go out from the team  :)

Anyway, french just arent good at soccer by this time. Slovakia would have beat them with ease, trust me!! 

Hmmm Slovakia just advanced to play-offs :) I guess I underestimated our team. It was nice match though, Italians played well towards the end of the match.

The Slovakia's third goal was a winner ;D. Nice match :).

I'm not gonna argue that all teams in our group played well, but if it wasn't for bad ref calls Italy would be moving on.

7th minute of the New Zealand VS Italy Game. The ONLY point and the 1st and 1/4 shots on goal in the entire game for NZ.

If you watch the replay, FOUR GUYS ARE OFFSIDE BY THE GOAL.

That's just a petty example. I think the refs wanted us to go home.

Given the fact that we are all being so nationalist about this, I'll join for the fun (even though I dislike a number of aspects of Footbal).
