EF hamachi

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have setup a hamachi for the mod.  ;)

IP: Eastern Front mod

I don't understand, Hamachi no longer works with company of heroes. Since OF, you are required to log in and lan games are impossible while your net is connected. Unless I'm mistaken...

If you want to play over LAN, use Tunngle! it supports CoH

And i got a question, when i try to join a host on Eastern Front it cant be done..it says: Incompatibel mod: them Reliccoh you> Reliccoh

Wrong version. The host of the game is using a different mod version than you.

my mod is up to date, i waas thinking maybe they didnt update theirs..just a thought ::)

Yeah I have both but the thing with Tunngle is its beta and as far as I can tell you can't just start a network so easily as you can with hamachi.

And yes contrary to popular belief you can play with these programs I played a friend of mine a few months back but now that I think about it there were some minor 'tweaks' we had to perform before we could connect to each game.

well, i got no complications with Tunngle.

And you should be up and running. Its really easy.
Can you explain how you did with hamachi, as i heard from my friends it dont work. We tried it but no success.

Basically it was more or less the same extra step with opening the ports thats shown in that vid but with a different method we used to achieve it on hamachi, I forget exactly how.

Next time I see him on xfire I'll ask..
