Soviets and Scheldt

I personally believe that choke point maps heavily favor the Soviets. I played Scheldt with a few friends a few days ago, and it was very easy to rush. All we needed to do was rush with Strelky and Guards, spam mortars to deal with bunkers, and we basically won. The tanks were also pretty easy to spam too. On maps like Red Ball, the Soviets are a little easier to outmaneuver. Don't get me wrong, as the Soviets were built to fight a war of attrition, not of maneuvering, so a choke point map is good for them. No complaints, just posting my thoughts.
Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas?

Re: Soviets and Scheldt

Screw choke point maps. They ruin the game as 60% of the COH community play only on them, those mindless, microless, noobfest maps, that encourage camping and discourage flanking. Balancing EF in favour of choke point maps is a pretty bad idea, just a thought.

Agreed, balancing with these maps in mind is like balancing when toddlers play against each other. These maps are there for pure mindless carnage, which CAN be enjoyable after a long day. They certainly give absolutely no indication of skill though.
