First 1.11 complaint.

Just played the hotfix 1.11.  The balance devs, whoever they may be are probably too self-confident in themselves to take this seriously, but I'll just say all I have to say with in 1 go and stay quiet after instead of spamming the same imba posts over and over again.

Nothing's been changed; Strelky are still OP with AB armor and free ridiculous weapons much stronger than vet3 grens; they just come later, but anyone can afford the red banner upgrade before even vet2 hits grens.  The 5 HP reduction is barely noticable, and they still don't need to work for anything.  Consider the red banner free; just sit back spam your strelky, use their free weapons and AB armor to win.

The Sherman is still a bit too strong, just costs a little more; much more worth its 600ish price than a Churchill or Hetzer, hardly a tampon tank.  It is a fully functional mainline battle tank with less health and a very slightly worse gun than the USA counterpart (7 reload time is the same as the USA Sherman).  The fact that a hardcap is needed for this unit to prevent it from being spammed still just tells you something.

As I played my "test round" today I found out that Moscow on the other hand really improved since last patch; I guess I just didn't pay enough notice to it.

OK I'm done ranting, believe what I'm saying or not for now, but when others discover the same things, don't say no one told you.  :)

EDIT: I'm not trying to be offensive or rude here; that's not the type of tone I have when writing this.  If the devs think its offensive, its cool to just lock this thread.

I have to agree with akalonor and in the devs defense chancellor learn to ADAPT AND OVERCOME instead of saying nothing has changed.

I can confirm IS2 bug and the firebase costs 9 pop cap instead of 6. The sherman looks balanced for me. And Stelky aren't as terrible as you say.

I'll stand by my points, but if I was rude, I wasn't trying to be.  Its a problem of mine I guess.  I think I set the wrong kind of tone in my writing than the type of tone I'm actually trying to portray.  ???  Again I wasn't trying to be offensive, just trying to get it all out in 1 post.

As to Blackbishop, I still think the Sherman is still a bit strong, not anything major though, just very slightly too strong.

IF I use a sherman, it's to scare the living shit out of the opponent.

The Shermans come early, so I tend to call 1 in ASAP, and then just steamroll, harass enemy infantry and take out early AT guns, and target any kind of mid game buildings.

Once it's gone, I don't intend to use it EVER again, by that time I'll have Tank Riders or T34/85s

Alot of the changes made i personally appreciate like Conscripts going back to 0-1 pop made me want to use them again, the fire base is at 9 pop as blackbishop has said, against what i think was claimed in the changelog also the T-90 and T-70 shouldnt require an upgrade i dont use them at all right now i just save up for T-34. It should be that you get both the T-70/90 from when you build the Tank hall then one upgrade gives you T-34 another gives you SU-85 and both are required to gain IS-2 or something along those lines

I don't use T-70/90 as well.

Problem without any upgrades for T-90 or T-70 is that you get them at 40 Fuel + their own cost, which is waaaaay to early!

There are topics that have complained that the Tank hall costs too little fuel and I agree with Strayker saying that if they were taken off upgrades would have increased costs. Putting them on upgrades makes you have the choice of getting light tanks and an alright tank hunter or a T-34 most cases ill go with the T-34 because ill already have AT-guns or PTRD's. Its not really an effective use of the T-90/70 as reasons for actually getting it in a game have gone. Personally i'd like all the models you've spent your time and effort on in this mod have some place however the T-90/70 seems to have no role or function at all in it's current state.

There is however reason for having 2 upgrades in Tank Hall - from tactical point of view, in 1vs1 automatch type games (500VP) usual tactic is to bring out fast vehicle (M8/Stuart/Puma) which if your opponent is not prepared for (AT gun) will strike hard and eventually win the match. In some cases f.e. when map is in general low on fuel, bringing out fast T70/T90 could turn the whole battle. And as Soviet you have also the option of Su85 if needed some hard AT... My point is that not everytime it is better to have Heavy tankovy upgr. - if medium tank needed T34 or Sherman could be call in.
