Eastern Front Fans,

This hotfix resolves the more noticable issues with the recent 1.10 patch, such as the incorrect stats for the new Lend-Lease Sherman tank and the infamous Red Banner Strelky crash. Read the full changelog for more details.

You can download EF Patch 1.11 through the Eastern Front 1.10 Launcher.

After checking for updates he has an error and needs to be closed. Does this only happen to me?

yes, mine is doing the same thing. it fails to find an update and just says its up to date and then proceeds to stop working.

EDIT: are you going to fix the updater with this patch?, i mean, editing the patch and putting online again. After all no one have downloaded it yet :D.

Fixed It!

Little Issue with the Admin Update Protocol, apparently it didn't like Swedish System Settings, had a UK guy fixing it.

Ok this is for the makers of this Badass mod.  I just updated and found a couple things I thought you guys should know about which you might already know but I'm putting it up anyways...IS-2 is now unlocked by "light armor upgrade"  Mortar crew can use "barrage" without the upgrade from the barracks  Playing against Russian comps they can retreat! Not fair...Stats have disappeared off stats page.  I'm going to keep playing and looking for stuff to help out.  Thanks for the Mod it's awesome.

When i check for updates it throw an Error with this:
Eastern Fronts Mod does not apear to be installed on your system. Try reinstalling Eastern Front Mod to continue

I've been having problems with my EF install.

I recently accquired the patch files for 1.10 and 1.11 rather than downloading that huge 638MB 1.10 setup and ran them over my 1.04 install. I assumed they would patch my 1.04 and everything would be fine. However, after playing some matches, I noticed big problems:

-I couldn't find these so-called upgrades that unlock Strelky or Guard squads
-My Command Squad function exactly the same as they did in 1.04
-I didn't get two seperate Ingenery squads after researching their upgrade in Urban Warfare
-My Ingenery also cannot build those American Outposts over captured control points

The list pretty much drags on. Obviously I've either done something wrong, or there is a problem with the patches. Anyone possibly know why or if there is a solution? Like I said previously, I do not want to download that 638MB setup file just to be up-to-date because I simply can't for DL reasons.

- In order to build strelky you need to have researched any upgrade on that building where you get sniper team & cia.
- I don't think it should be different, aside you can upgrade their weapons.
- You must research in armory the storm engineers and then you would be able to train both. I wonder if devs are planning to change the icon of the sturmengineer...
-The Russian Outpost should be built on it, don't look for those brownish crates, you wont find them. FYI...

-No upgrades are in the Support Barracks. Just units.
-The Command Squad Tier system and upgrades are not there. They are exactly like they are in 1.04
-No "Russian Outpost" appears in the Ingenery build list
-That second Ingenery squad does not appear as recruitable. I have to "Upgrade" my Ingenery to get it.

Like I said, I manually tried to patch 1.04 to 1.10, then 1.11 using patch files on these forums. I did NOT grab the 1.10 Setup File that adds up to 638MB, because I can't DL it. If doing what I did was not the problem, then I don't know what it is.

I guess the bottom line is, I just want to be able to patch 1.04 to the latest version without having to grab the setup file and have it working properly.

I don't know what do you mean with "manually tried to patch 1.04 to 1.10".

You can forget about 1.04 :)... is "useless" now, 1.10 is a full installer, so if you didn't download the 1.10 because its size is 638MB, how did you patch it? When you install 1.10 and you have already installed 1.04, it uninstall first and install later. After that update from the launcher a couple of times and EF is ready...

Well... that's what I normally do. If you didn't downloaded 1.10, how do you patched to 1.11??

If you have 1.04 you need to uninstall first and delete all EF related files remaining; if not I think before installing delete all what it can. Then download:

Game is still crashing for me. Was just in a 3v3, game up and quitted on me after 20 mins.

How can I get the information I need to provide to you guys so we can find out what's causing this?

Hi all,
 
Conscripts need to have 4 population cap due to the fact only four of them have guns and have 6 population cap when upgraded. It simply removes the Russian way SPAM!, the Russians tactic is spam, also the conscripts should have a low health since they have a low combat experience. Bring Back The  Conscript Spam

Conscripts with only half of their men being armed, sniper aces....

I'm getting some sort of NSIS Error saying

"Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy.    More information at: http://nsis.sf.net/NSIS_Error"

the link that was displayed in the message had some tips, but none of them helped.
and i'm running windows xp professional x64 edition btw, any ideas?  ???

also me and my mate were unable to join each others multi player games after applying the patch.

NSIS error means that download was corrupted (incomplete) and must be redownloaded.

space requirements, etc. Not all flags, just a few. Even

can lock down sectors (PE scout car style?) :)

Just found a (possible) bug when playing.
In the Tank Hall once the first upgrade was bought it enabled me to build the SU-85 and IS-2, although the T-34 was still disabled.

I'd built all the other base buildings though, perhaps some of the old code unlocking the Su-85 and IS-2 once you've built 3 soviet buildings has still been left in?

Yea, finally, we got that CoH expansion.

And yes, i call it expansion, now, finally.
The soviets became really well done now, this way they got
millions of differnet strategies.

Playing against them was just THAT HUGE fun, that i just
want to play again and again. This is a freaking expansion, now, finally.

Eastern Front crashed when doing 2v2 on Lyon, why cant you get more than one firebase? also the population needs to be changed to 7 or 8 population cap for them.
