"Check For Update" does not work !!?

Well, I have this problem, I want to update the Eastern front, and click on "Check for update" and after a while an error pops up: It sounds as follows: The connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a set period of time, or established connection failed because connected host failed to respond. Someone knows how to fix it?
