EF Mod on GR's Sunday Night Fight

I suggest showing EF mod off at GR's Sunday Night Fight to attract more players. The mod and it's creators deserve it. And it will be fun for everybody else, too.

GR's Sunday Night Fights http://www.gamereplays.org/companyofheroes/portals.php?show=news&news_id=601843&home attract a lot of viewers (max was 200+). So this is about live broadcasting a game!

I would start with a 1vs1 and 3 rounds. So we need one participant who is able to broadcast in high quality. I volunteer to be his opponent but I'm only lvl 6 and I have crappy upload speed.

What would be really cool is to have some of the devs give some info about the mod and comment that game live!

BTW: XFire and the Broadcast Status Site already recognize the EF mod so you'll see the EF icon when someone is broadcasting an EF game. And as you see the site already sports the OMG mod's banner - it could show the EF mod's banner, too.

You know that upload speed depends on your ISP and not on your OS? Try this site http://www.speedtest.net to check your upload (!) speed. For example I have 1.97 MB/s download but only 0.18 MB/s upload - I couldn't broadcast on the lowest settings. For really good quality you will need about 5 times my upload speed.

The best option is to actually broadcast and watch your own stream. BTW: it doesn't matter how many are watching - xfire's servers deal with that.

I think this is a fantastic idea to get more publicity. I already posted in another thread that some good players on GR need to try the mod again. With GR's support, the mod could grow very quickly.
