both EF and orginal CoH does'nt start :(

i have downloaded the ff from moddb as instructed:
Download EASTERN FRONT (Full) v1.0
Download EASTERN FRONT (Patch) v1.01

but the game wont start after clicking the play button
also when i double click my orginal CoH it wont run
btw my CoH is v1.0
...so can you give me links for the v1.0 to v2.601

also,...does v2.601 of CoH work on the original CoH or do i still need the tales of valor

also...will EF work on the original CoH?

I need solutions for these...i really hope to enjoy the game >_<

Hi Welcome

You will indeed have to patch your game to 2.601, patches can be found here and if i remember right you need to download them in order. I suggest uninstalling your EasternFront then reinstalling once fully patched up. The 2601 patch will work with any version of COH.

You need any original (costs ~5$) COH (vanila COH, COH OF, or COH TOV) that is patched to v2.601.

Only than you can strat instaling EF, and patching it form EF v1.00 to EF v1.04.

so all i have to do is to
1. upgrade CoH to v2.601
2. then install EF the launcher and v1.00-v1.04

follow up qustions:
•in the link that jimbosmith gave me, v2.1-2.5 is under OF while 2.5-2.601 is under ToV...do v.2.1-2.601 really work for CoH original (sorry for repeating the question...im a worrywart)
•after doing all of these...is it a guarantee that i can play EF with my orginal CoH
•does v2.601 work on my CoH which is downloaded on the torrent site? im not in a dollar earning country :(
•do i still ned to reinstall the original CoH since the original one will not open(once i try to open ...nothing happens after double-clicking.)
