Native Language Files

I've seen a lot on the forums about some people wanting all the factions to speak their native languages. Well now you guys can have it! These files are from 2.600 and will work 100% with TOV units. The Americans and British will now speak English (if you have a non-english game), and the Germans will speak German (if you have a non-german game)!

German files are courtesy of serg_codmod.

Just download these files and replace (or keep) English at the end of the sga with your native language, place it in you COH/WW2/Archives folder, it should overwrite the original files - so always save a backup. Also be warned that these are very large files!

YOU MUST DOWNLOAD BOTH FILES!

Wehrmacht (German)

Thankyou muchly, I have had an older German language mod, but it didn't cover Tales of Valour units, they were mute.

I've been looking for a later one, and I just stumbled into it here, thanks again.

Could it be possible to use some of those voices in future coming Ostheer? I mean Grenadiers speaking clearly german as main battle infantry to Ostheer, and so on?

I believe the devs said that the Ostheer will speak the player's native language. (As the current German factions do in game) This probably wouldn't be difficult to change though.

Hey, I just want the Wehrmach to speak German. Is that possible without getting the other mods?
My game is American, so the Brits and Americans are fine.
