What should I do if I'm going to attack enemy base with some infantry

When I attack the enemy base, I bring tanks AND infantry. I want to know how I should keep them alive. I want advice for the Red Army.
Before you answer, do these things help my infantry live?
1. I pick Propaganda War Strategy and activate Red Tide.
2. My tanks are responsible for taking out Bunkers and then my infantry come in.

ok, if you want infantry to survive the attack on the enemy base, here are some tips;

1: Use the tanks against bunkers and tanks. If armored cars appear, use the tank to kill them.

2: Mass normal conscripts and use them as cannon fodder. Use the guards infantry and wipe out elite infantry and light vehicles.

3: The doctrine Isu-152 and KV-2 are powerful against buildings but have a slow rate of fire so use this to eliminate the HQ and tank producing buildings.

4: Red tide will only make a new squad of infantry for everyone  at your HQ so unless you like using guards, it not useful.

Please read those extra details under my question. I do use the tanks to take out bunkers I said that. Please note that I use Propaganda War Strategy.

Your question is vague though, in all honesty PTRDs upgraded and Shock guards if you wanna demolish a base fast with out tanks.... make sure you have a Command Squad to break the suppression though

Ok, if you are using the propaganda strategy, get 3 katyusha rocket and fire all three of them at the enemy base, then rush in with Streklys with PPSH-41s and T-34/85.
You will overwhelm them and it will be their demise.

unless they Pak snipe your tanks and use upgraded Stormtroopers to demolish your inf...

Red Banner Strelkies with a couple of conscripts (NKVD or Vanilla, your choice) and a couple T-34s and say 2 IS-2s or so. I find this works quite well. Rush them all into the base, swarm any armor with your T-34s and IS-2s and use the conscripts to swarm any PaKs. Use your commander to call down arty on the bunkers, and have the tanks finish them off. Bunker down with the Strelkies, as they should be Red Banner. If you chose to use the NKVD conscripts molotov everything. If you've had time and such another idea is flamer Sturmovie, but I admit I've not used them before. They are probably very good taking any MG-42s that may be garrisoning the HQ.

Essentialy swarm the enemy armor and AT with your Soviet steal, hunker down in the base with the Strelkies, and get to work.

That doesn't work to well, particularly if you don't have any AT inf or a command Squad (which people tend to forget late game), if your enemy is bunkered in and vetted up. Put simply, against a competent Axis Team if your game lasts longer then 45 minutes you most likely will loose as soviets.... even if you play arty command...

True. This is what I have often ended up doing against the Axis players when I've pushed them back relatively quickly. Unfortunately they didn't know what they were doing too much :P 1 conscript on the field held off around 5 squads of volks. Then my tank riders, armor, and strelky force came in.

The Soviets do seem to be an early-mid game group. In the very beginning they are weak with the conscripts and Ingenery, unless you blob or are quite good with them. As soon as they get Strelkys and T-34s they end the game. This is how I've seen things go.

Strelky vs Vet 2 Storm Squad with MP44 on open ground goes to Storm, but barely even with a med pack popped, vet 3 the Storm wins hands down loosing 1 man if a med pack is popped, two Paks can take down a T34 with 3 shots each cloaked and 3 can hold off a small tank rush. Once the Wehr is vetted up and has some semblance of capturing force its GG, you need to stop the Wehr late game faster then even with the Ami's or Brits...its stupid crazy how the early game is so important for the russians but the late game lacks, in all honesty I think a slow down or nerfing of the early game is needed and a buffing of the late game is also needed to counter act the Wehr and PE late game
