Expansion

Apparently an expansion for Company of Heroes is being made set in the Eastern front.  If this is true I'll laugh till I vomit.

Are there any information about it?

I've not heard anything officially... theres alot of people out there who like to start spreading rumours like its fact when its plainly not, usually people who crave attention and/or Editors who get a kick out of selling magazines this way. Remember, there HAS been alot of talk and fantasising (almost orgasmicly) about an Eastern Front expansion, so you shouldn't take the rumours on board as fact untill their written in blood on the mirror in your bathroom. I remember reading somthing about CoH2 somewhere but those are most likey rumours as well.

However... like trying to disprove god... I may be wrong, and secretly I hope i'm wrong. :P

Well quite the opposite really, just because a game is set in the same theatre does not mean its going to be a carbon copy of our mod. For example to make my point, for BF1942 came FH,bg, XWW2, and countless other mods in the same theatre and they were very popular.

Amazon has updated their listing with a brand new CoH product entitled "CoH: Tales of Valor". While it isn't an official confirmation by any means, Amazon does have a habit of announcing unreleased games this way, so I'd say there is a pretty good chance that this is a real product. So it looks like we'll be getting another CoH title in the future.

That's pretty obvious.
I mean, they said themselves that they where going to release CoH in parts, each different parts of the war.
That doesn't mean though that the next one will be the Eastern Front. Could be, but there's a lot more than can still be done (Pacific/Africa etc.).

Its very unlikely that it is already the eastern front expansion. Tales of Valor will probably be just a compilation of the downloadable contents. CoH has a 5 year plan, we are still in year 2. My guess is tales of valor, then another mediterranean expansion, and then CoH 2 with the eastern front in the new DoW 2 engine.

Tales of valor will include no new factions, only new units for the existing ones and some new campaigns

At least if u trust wikipedia, and they're quite reliable about games...
