DP 28

I've noticed the DP 28 is not very effective for what it costs to get it, I was thinking it should be at least as effective in suppressing infantry as the Bren Gun, maybe not as accurate & maybe have it slow down after prolonged engagements as the DP 28 had no alternate barrel & would overheat quickly.

This would give the Red Army a useful assault MG & by way of OP's make up for the lack of MG nests in 2 of the 3 doctrines. Which I think is cool btw that they can't all build MG nests.

Bren LMG has ~0 suppression.
Bren Carrier Vickers MG has suppression though.
What do you mean?
The DP-28 already has superior suppression to the Bren LMG. Each DP-28 has 2/5 the suppression of the Carrier Vickers MG - thus the two of them makes 4/5 of a Carrier VMG.

Well... DP28 costs me nothing ;)
Strekly cost 250... compared to 270 for US rifles...

And don't forget DP28's ability to be unsuppressable!

It does kinda suck right now which is why its getting a buff next patch. Its true that currently you might as well only get the ppsh...but that will change as well since they'll get a minor nerf while the DP gets the buff...so equalize things

Cool. Will it get the new model in this patch? By the way, they're also a weapon icon you guys made for the DP-28, which isn't actually being used - you're still using the Bren icon (the icon that shows up underneath the squad symbol, used to show the squad has a weapon.)
