Wont let me play soviets

Well I downloaded the mod and when I go to play as the Soviets it has a red lock next to it and when I click on it, it tells me that "You cannot play as the soviet army" I hope someone can help, thanks.

Make sure your base COH is patched up to 2,601 patch

I've got the exact same issue.  I've seen the 'patch' suggestion/solution, but mine is patched to 2.601 - I re-downloaded the patch and tried installing but got a 'patch already installed' error code.  I also tried reinstalling the mod and playing the game before and with each update, but nada.

Anyone got a real fix for this?  Do I need to reinstall the game proper, patch it and reinstall Eastern Front too?

I'd like to confirm if reinstallation is necessary because the game takes like 30mins to install!  : /  ...and that's not including downloading and installing all the updates!  (*Presuming you have to re-download/install them that is.)

I HAVE THE SAME PROB, on bottom i see 2.50 (i presume that is the patch) when i try to put the 2.6 the same error saying that already exist a patch ???
