The meanest way to use the Sniper Ace when playing with a british player.

Ok, since the Sniper Ace can camouflage (unlike the marksman unit) I realized something. If your are playing with the British player and he goes for the Royal Artillery support, you can send you sniper ace into the enemy base undetected and use him to allow the British player to use his over-watch ability. It will slaughter enemy units that just came out of production. Anyone test this out and post on how well it does.

Panzer said that you send a Sniper Ace into the German base, and then have the British player use overwatch on the base. What this ability does, is make the 25lbs and Priests fire air-burst munitions on any enemy unit that enters the overwatch area.

This means slaughtering infantry and light vehicles.

uhmm wtf is supposed to be mean about that? sniper ace comes at how many CPs? like 7 or sth right? normal amer snipers can come after like 1 min or sth XD

This is British imbalance at work really, not Soviet. Overwatch shouldn't be able to be deployed in Base sectors, just like Soviet GoW and Sturmovik Runs, but its not up to us to do this change, its up to Relic, which they won't. As the above post states, you can do this with American Snipers too and they aren't even a doctrine ability (although Overwatch is).

USA *AND* Pe (Ketten invis) can do the exact same thing?

Fully agree with you.

Also, since Over-watch needs LOS, I would assume that someone who has the common sense to realize there might be a camoed unit in his base... Detect and destroy.

the only way i can see this being better than us snipers is that it can infiltrate into the area.

Although enemies have to be REALLY close for it to be detected.

although, correct me if im wrong, doesn't the sniper ace have a much larger vision when camo?

so there are a few advantages to using sniper ace.  not enough to keep it stuck in the base though.
