Sturmtigers, arty, entrenchments...

Ostheer Suggestions

Sturmtigers, arty, entrenchments...

--This would be a nice addition to the game, and it would then essentially be able to function just like the British Churchill AVRE does in CoH.

--105mm howitzer emplacements are a good plan too.

--To counter the massive amounts of Soviet infantry, the Ostheer really needs the ability to either dig some type of trenches or foxholes.

--As far as the 3 commander choices are concerned,  I wholeheartedly agree that the Waffen SS should be one of the options.  Another good one would be Gebirgsjägers, who then should have some special infantry and artillery abilities. For the third...I'm still thinking on that one!

I´d rather have some kind of combat pioneer units with satchels.

Fair enough (although why you would want a 105 when you can have Stukas and Nebels is beyond me).

A single Luftwaffe squad in green cover can kill two conscript squads. Russian infantry are not THAT good, even when spammed.

While a whole doctrine to the Waffen SS might be feasible if merged with armored warfare, I doubt you can form a whole doctrine out of Gebirgsjägers. Maybe in a doctrine specialized on infantry...

Looks like that here is no more interest in and no new post - so; close.
