SU-85 balance

im a pe fanboy but i have to say this tank seems to be too weak.
pretty much looks like a hetzer but even more expensive.
it dies to 2! shots of a german pak (in camo)
id raise its hp by 10-15%
and mb reduce fuel cost by 10
needs some love imo
also the amount of xp gained from destroying aa su-85 must be huge
didnt watch for the number appearing but the fact a hetzer gets instant vet1 is lol (not that i would mind that one :D)

the SU-85 has just 300HP (same as stug) but Hetzer armor (Hetzer has 400HP)
its gun range is a bit bigger than the medium tanks (45) and its gun has an awesome penetration

but i agree for its current pricing its health is to low
maybe increase it by 15% or give it 47.5 range like the Panther to be a glass cannon tank destroyer in the back

Interesting thinking moonblood, that`s exactly how I use Su-85 (or often Su-100), IS-2 with Su-85/100 in the back in case of flanking is a killer combo, but it`s armor should have little more "bounce shell`s", right now, every hit in Su-85 is almost certainly a penetration.

Problem really isn't its armour but rather  the pak bug. It can still match a PzIV/Stug/Hetzer and do decent damage vs a Panther

I think the fuel cost should be reduced by 10 and leave everything else alone.  Its a good tank destroyer to go toe to toe with stug spam but the fuel price hurts.  100 fuel is more than FFs.

It's ridiculous.

My SU-85 get killed even by 1 Puma without upgraded gun.  ;D

I don't know this for sure, but my brother complained that his SU-85/100 couldn't drive backwards, but had to turn completely around just to drive a little bit backwards.
Sounds like a bug to me. ;)

It's the usual pathing not a bug...make sure you have pressed shift down whilist telling the tank where to move

I thought stugs had 400 hp just like hetzers? At any rate, its armor seems to be better than hetzer armor as I've had king tigers bounce off them occasionally, which should be impossible if they're using hetzer armor. I think they need to lower the cost a bit. The thing's pretty underwhelming for something that costs almost as much as a firefly. IMO the best thing would be for the cost to go down 10-20 fuel, and then the SU-100 upgrade can bump it back up to 100 fuel.

honestly because it had relatively weak armor I say make it the same cost as an T-34 because of its rather limited role...

Hetzer has 450 and stug 400hp. Imo SU-85 should be cheaper, 80 fuel or something.

Yea I guess decreasing the cost is the best choice . 300 mp 85 fuel.
