Relic is deffinetly aware of Eastern Front

Hey guys, maybe this is old news already, but I have just noticed that in the news section of Relic's COH official website they announced the launch and release of Eastern Front.

They even posted a link to easternfront.org . Isn't that cool?

that is pretty cool. i wonder what they are going to do for the next expansion.

Relic is essentially sitting on a pile of gold..all they have to do is get off their butt and make an official Soviet expansion!

It could be nice if they could integrate the soviets into Relic Online a let the EF team do the balance ! So we could play them in automatch (i didn't test it, maybe we can already ?) and have our stats with soviets !

Won't happen.  Never seen it with another game, only maps being integrated.  However it is very possible that Relic would buy out the mod team with job offers.  Happened with Desert Combat, Forgotten Hope mods that were highly successful with BF1942.  Also happened with the original counterstrike modder.  Also happened with the Day of Defeat mod team for half life 1.

It could be like this if only the real developers of this mod would be mentioned in the very beginning.

I personally think, that an official patch released by Relic would do it. Bring USSR to stats, maybe few tips in balance...

But that's good to know :)
