T-70 Upgrade

Well we`r all thinking it, I might as well say it. Right now, T-70 sucks.
My idea would be to make an upgrade for it (100mun)
for an ability, like thread-breaker on AT halftrack, only now it`s disabling the main canon instead of tracks, 45mm could do that at point blank...
what do you think?

t-70 ftw mate. Awsome infantry support tank. Its only weakness is pak and heavy armor, as should be. The edge is has over the t-90 if a puma/halftrack come.

I tested it and tested it, but somehow it seams to week against pumas or even Scout cars, and this ability would`nt be unreasonable, right?

I wouldn't mind dishing out a few munitions to break a few axis treads, think of it: Treadbreaker plus PTRD group= dead Puma.

Ok, what I meant was it should destroy a gun (not threads) and from point-blank range, on pumas, sthugh, panzers...etc

Soviet union abilities shouldn't cost any munitions.

It would be like T-34/85 upgrade, you would buy it in Armory.

T70 is getting a couple of changes in the new patch. it Gets M8 armour which makes it more survivable vs Shreck wielding troops and its also a detector with a small radius.

All in all a pretty useful vehicle vs both PE/WH  ;)

thank god, the T70 is damned useless atm.

no it is not. it takes out Flakpanzers very well. It's also VERY VERY GOOD against all those little damm PE halftracks

uhhhh huh? T-90 has a machine gun...

yeah I've never really seen the point of using the T 70, I usually just get a ZIS-2, maybe a couple of tank hunter squads, and then wait until i can afford decent tanks. The T 90 is awesome tho, I really find it the best mobile infantry killer in the game, and it's so cheap!

T-70 can destroy Marder-III or other tanks without turret or self propelled artillery  without many problems,because have good speed who allow them to move fast at the rear of the enemy,and stay there until do this job.Maybe developers will make their turret to rotate and shoot little more fast.

T-90 will be never able destroy tanks. :P

What happened to that cage armor the T-70 was suppose to have, was it just too hard to model?

T-70 was supposed to have Cage armour? First I've heard.

I've not used T-70s very often, but the one time I did use it what struck me was its terrible accuracy against infantry. I don't know if it was the exception to the rule, but surrounded by defenseless Grenadiers and Volksgrenadiers, it had extreme difficulty in killing even one.

On the other hand it managed to nail a moving Kettenkrad on the first shot. Weird.

1 its not made to take on infantry (lol where did you come up with that idea :P)
2 I took out a marder 3 yesterday with one of those things just keep circling it

Marder III without support is just a prey for T-70.

All is need for T-70 is to drive with maximum speed toward the rear of the target,and to stay there until the job is done.

Also....can't be destroyed very easy.Sometimes is need three shots...but usually get just one...After one shoot,Marder III will not have another chance,and one shoot is always not enough for destroying T-70.

Oh, I agree. I'm not saying anything about THAT.
I want them to add back the T70's coaxial MG. Nothing
to do with Marder3's ;) (Which should NEVER be solo)
They need mutual support.

T-70 and T-34/70 are like Stuart and a Cromwell. Stuart will kill any PE light armor (including marders) faster than a Cromwell... but T-70 costs only 25Fuel and is low on pop.
All T-70, Stuart and Staghound (UK) can 1shot kill a ketten.

T-70 dosnt need an upgrade.

I think the tank is a reasonable all-round tank, but i know where your coming from
