German Forces?

Hiho,

I've read very much information about the Russian, but what about the German Army?
Short of some pics of the Pz III and some discussions about artillery there wasn't that much yet :P

We will be focusing on the Russians for now.

The idea being to give people a nice big release sooner rather than later and then focus on the Germans.

and all the animations and most the small arms are already crafted and animated for the germans

Unless you guys were changing them?

Not totally sure. We might have to make most the tank and other vehicle animations from scratch, unless we can use the originals.

there are many interesting weapons and units on german side in eastern front, but i wouldn't say there's anything really that different. unless these guys want to make individual panzer and waffen ss unit skins...i dont think theres much else to do than add the elefant anti-tank gun (which sucked balls) and a higher ratio of outdated tanks like pzrkfwgn ii and iii. i'm personally more interested in fighting against is-2s and t-34s en masse, heh :)

Ehrm, excuse me? The small number of Elefant's that were deployed raked havoc! I believe they had a total of 1:10 kill ratio (one Elefant to ten Russian tanks) during the whole war.

so will the germans have a whole new faction or are they just getting new units

well as i understand from reading other topics the germans will get new doctrines and such. i think u shuld read around the forum before posting.

I believe the plan is for them to be made as a new side after the Soviets are completed.
