Technically Vikings were Pirates, Eric the Red wasn't a pirate, he WAS exiled sure but that was because someone tried stealing his wife so next thing you know a guys head is on the floor. As far as I know he didn't go on many southern raids, he just Explored a bit (Leif Ericsson , Leif Eric's son)And contrary to popular belief the name "Eric The red" was because of his Beard not gore. What does FTW mean ??
