Soviets lacking non-armor AT

I know that the Soviets can produce several tanks that do well against German armor, but something that they are completely lacking is a reasonable infantry AT option.  Currently we have to build a Soviet Support Barracks to produce ANY sort of non-armor AT, and the Pak 38 is death for any sort of armor.

I find that when the enemy pumps out a Stug and a couple Pak 38's it's basically game over if I don't have a SSB.

Almost every other faction has some kind of mainstream infantry AT option.  The Wehrmacht have panzerfausts, the Americans have sticky bombs, and the British have PIAT's.  I'm not too familiar with the Panzer Elite.

The Russians, however, lack such a light AT option.  We must spend valuable resources on a Soviet Support Barracks to get Guards, a Tank Hunter Squad, or an AT gun.

Now, if I wanted a serious AT option, I could understand having to build a Soviet Support Barracks.  But I just want a light AT option.  Something to "hit and run" with, like sticky bombs.  Maybe it could be an Urban Combat upgrade for Partisans.  Not sure.

Agree?  Disagree?

You are teching up way too slow if you haven't got a SSB by the time Wehr has a Stug.

OK, but what about Pak 38's?  Those come out quick, don't they?

The Soviets can't build resource outposts, so low fuel production limits my ability to build base structures.  I usually go right to Russian Tank Hall and try to build at least one Artillery Fire Base.  Each of those costs 100 fuel, so that's 200 fuel I need to obtain before I can even think about a SSB.  Plus T-90's, which cost 30 fuel, are necessary to hold off infantry and they kick ass early game, and can even maneuver around Pak 38's.  Maybe my style just isn't right.  As Americans I never build a Motor Pool and I rely on Sticky Bombs and Tank Destroyers and that usually works out fine.

Russian 120mm mortar AT rifle squads and a zis2 gun is all the russians need. The fact that 17lbs is stationary and needs to be build are its weakness - thats why it has more firepower.
You can olso use AT granades...

I think soviets should have something to disable tank like tread break or it is too difficult to counter axis tanks
