well - no retreat button
and cannot crawl very fast
so - lost 3 squads early to a MG (Wehrmacht)
solution =- ??

Read the characteristics of the units in the main page?

You have to use your commander to charge them out of supression, you can also do arial strikes, but you to give your commander squad time to build those up.

well - u only get one commander - cannot be everywhere
and
air run?
that is very late in tech tree
must be other solutions
either that , or NO blobs in early game - it is suicide

one does not run 'into' mg fire
one has 2-3 squads (for strength) as 1 squad is worthless
and even when 1 was capping and 2 were 'standing guard'
a simple mg crew walks in and BAM - all were pinned
and
air run?
that is very late in tech tree
must be other solutions
either that , or NO blobs in early game - it is suicide

It's better to just one a commander at guard, instead of 2 conscripts.

well- again - you only get 1 commander?
means all other squads on map are vulnerable to MG (or other pinning units)
so . . . needs a better solution
if not a retreat button = then a crawl faster button
