Crash to Desktop twice today

I have never had my game crash to desk top before today, when i started playing eastern front. I do not know what caused it...maybe it was because i have dual monitors idk.


Luckily both times it was near the end of the games so it was not much of a loss for me

but i thought i would report it

Specs of my computer:

Core i7 920
EVGA GEFORCE 9800 GTX+
6gb DDR3 TRipple channel
Windows 7 64bit professional

Me and two other friends of mine have been playing this mod. ( 3 vs 3(cpus)) Every match we've played, me and one of my other friends game keeps crashing to the desktop with the Relic error report system thing. There doesn't seem to be much that triggers it other than the game crashing after a certian amount of time. I myself tested the mod on a smaller ( 1vs1) map and I never crashed. ~

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Memory: 4 Gigs

Update: Just finish playing on a 2vs2(Cpus) With my friend that also kept crashing.We finished the game without incident as well. So perhapse its on 3+vs3+ Maps?... just a thought.

Same here, getting crashes to desktop, when playing online. With very similar specs. anyone with a modern intel running Win 7 x64 who has this working well?

crashed for no reason.

It seems to happen a lot on maps of over 4 players (2v2)... and sometimes on other maps at random times. I've tried to pinpoint some of the random crashes or recreate them but I can't, I'm hoping now the game is out others will have better luck and report what they find.

Only 1 crash today, at the end of 4v4 Berlin. Game had finished, was reviewing stats, I hit 'Main Menu' on the stats screen and had to hard-boot from freeze.

Otherwise all good!

Do you get it also when playing without Eastern Front Mod (please try!)?

first of all, I have nearly the same PC as DACorp32 I just uses Windows XP SP 3

I have the problem that yesterday I could play the game with a few crashes to desktop. In most cases this happens in late game. But today I wasn't able neither to load the maps Zhytomyr, nor Stalingrad...it causes an 'overflow' of my internal memory.

i think with most mods is this problem on big maps most 4vs4... in late game a lot of units are on the field, bad pc performance and game crashed... coh with mods need more pc perf than vcoh...

@DACorp32 you said you got crashes on 4vs4 but no crashes on 2vs2? make a test... play some 4vs4 and look how many crashes, then play some 2vs2 and look too... if you got every time a crash on 4vs4 and no crash on 2vs2 regulate your graphics down...

My friend has this happen but it actually blue screened; ram access memory exception or something of the sort yet he has 5 gb of ram and a gtx 260 graphics card, so it seems this mod can be stress full on your comp. So he turned down his antiailiasing and no crashes for the rest of the day.

it only crashes on certian maps for me like Prauge

I also experienced this "end-of-game" crash when clicking "Exit Stats" button.

Dear Devs, the crash happens either at the start (load screen) or at the end (end game screen), but so far never in-between games.
