all games get filtret

all my games are getting filtret when i try to play the mod.. i am able to play single but can't join any games

I have the same problem.

My guess was it's because i had my vCoH modded with skins and a camera zoom mod.

I took those out. still didnt work. im reinstalling right now.

Aye same, I can play Skirmish fine but all the multiplayer game either say theyre incompatible or that I have a different version of the mod installed  ???

The only thing I was using was some skins but I'd used the skininstaller so it should be ok.

Let us know how it goes and if alls well ill reinstall tomorrow  :)

my mate and me got the same problem
cant join each other and most of the games hosted.
so far i found only 1 guy whom i could join (mb out of ~500 games i saw greyed out)

Where did you download the installation file from?

Do you have any skin mods?
You could try to lower shader quality to high from ultra (I've heard something about ultra causing trouble).
Also please try to Megashare or the Torrent installers.

i had a bunchload of skins installed
i changed everything i had on ultra to high -> did not solve it
ill try the torrent dl nau >.<

EDIT: the torrent installer doesnt make anything better
still same problem

ok the skins are the problem.
seems the mod is not compatible with skins.
i changed the ww2 folder to my pre-skin backupfolder and see
it works
i can join ef games now.

Thats probably whats happening for me then.
Did you use the Skininstaller?

Any way this could be fixed in a patch? Cant stand the stock CoH skins  :)

how do I unistall skins without affcting the game and dont tell me i have to reinstall the game plz.

I got the same problem and i got custom skins installed with the Skin installer.

This really needs i fix, i refuse to play with the vanilla skins, they're terrible.

afaik you cant uninstall them.
but in every guide it is advised to make a backup of your ww2 folder.
