what patch of CoH the mod need?

Can anyone help me please? I try to install the 2.500 to 2.501 patch, but when i run the setup file, it crashes. can it be because i already installed EF? Is there a way to uninstall the EF?

But i have a problem: when i start the Launcher there is nothing to press for play and when i just start the game with the.exe I cant chose the soviets...
I have the newest patch and installed CoH: EF in my steam folder. where is my problem :D

Just wanted to say great work on the mod it looks amazing. I have a few questions though im new to adding mods to games and i was wondering what is the best way to add this expansion to my company of heroes on steam?? I have friends who told me they installed it but could not play so i just want to make sure i do things correctly any help would be most appreciated.

Tell your friends to read the Bugs section of this forum. EF works fine with Steam CoH, it just needs to be installed correctly.

I was just playing Eastern Front as everyone could of guessed, but I realized that your rank status does not change. Also when i check how many games I have played it showed zero because the game isn't keeping track  of the games played as Russians. I hope you can fix this issue. -Looking forward to some great mods-

no! it works with vcoh, opposing fronts or tales of valor but u need always patch 2.601

The reason it has to be 2.601 is becuase

"some modders that were working on adding new factions for the game found that they were locked out by one of our in-game product checks"

I'm pretty sure that the "Modders" were the EF Dev Team

Really? The Japanese bum rushed the Chinese and eastern asia to hell along with wiping out British troops from colonial areas even when out numbered. If anything the Japanese would be much more of a blitz type army than anything until late game.

thank for the great mod guys love the IS-2 it took the germans 2 AT guns,3 mortar Squads,a stug IV,a Panzer IV and two MG nest to take it out(may be there were some slight repair in between though) lol

I would love a campaign in the future

P.S. I'm sure glad you came out with EF becuase if relic ever got around to it all it would be is lend lease vehicle's and retextured units without any patches to fix fifty times as many bugs as this mod will EVER have

yes of course... i know the history of ww2 but i dont like the war in the pazific... in my eyes the war on europe is more interesting... epic battles, tank battles, a lot of different unit types at all armies, hot sun in the summer and muddy winters... on the pacific are allways the same... jungle, hot sun, ship bombardments, infantry fights and a lot of air fights... :)

great now to fight with most of the european armys in coh... and waitin for ostheer  ;D

Войска не подбирают оружие, не занимают пушки;
Техника не очень детально проработана;
Юниты и техника не получают опыт;
Нет команды отступить к штабу.

well rip mr scruff. and for the rest i can say i am very disapointed, what in the hell were u guys thinking no retreating? thats not realistic and it suxx playing with that besides that all the things are just a combo of brit,wehr,pe,ami , no axis so all players wanna play the new faction noone wanna do axis, stats dont show ppl cant get a lvl with it theres no ostheer, honestly i expected a professionale new expansion with new armys, seems like this ruin whole coh. this is in my eyes just another mod wich sucks like all the mods its amateuristic it ruins coh a lot ppl dont wanna download it and they cant play vs ppl that want it wow more divided shit in coh it became already hard enough lately to get a game not even more. srry guys i appreciate the hard work but i just being honest u didnt realised the feeling u gave coh players

Hi i'm am the Member of the Eastern Front Fan Association of the Philippines :).this is the first time that I played this Mod, after almost Four Years of Waiting.well you see I feel kinda uncontented in this Mod because when I'm in the in game screen and start Building some of Troops and I noticed it that some of your Soldiers don't know know to Speak English,even the Tank Crew,because I don't know how to speak Russian,Serbian,Whatever :-[.I came to the right decision thatyou should Create a "Special Patch" so that your Soldiers Speak English fluently with some Russian
Accent.(that's a Part of the very old law Order No.00330)
just like Original COH that the Axis Speak english,in the Game,
accodring to my studies..Remember There are "Good Things" will be Happened,if you do this Task ;)

The soviets need the observational post because if you want to up the upgrades you need a lot of munition and if you build an OP you can win more munitions and fuel. Please add this using a patch.

This mod is quite interesting. I am still getting used to Soviets swarm spamming my wehr but I look forward to finding a way to counter that.

My first impression/feedback:
Ive been waiting for the SU since spring 09 and on 21|01|10 the mod was released. ->download,install,play.
i think my "grade" would be 4/10. The best feature of the mod are the new maps. "Berlin" is quite a nice map(e.g). But the SU is too strong!!!!
For gods sake! Normal motar sould be 120mm? only three buildings till IS-2/T34? many (!) spawnable ISU´s? C´mon...
Nearly all russian troops are equipped way too good.  There´s no real german aswer on the russian mass of troops (especially in the first phase of a duell - i know some troops arent armed, but the hmg42 cant handle the mass of troops).
Some examples: Artillery is buildable for all com.trees, thats not fair at all for axis. No new com.tree for axis. SU motars and artillery too strong. Too many Units. No tank-duell balance - tankbuilding of Su is too early buildable. The observational point must be limited (2 e.g).
Compare to Blitzkrieg Mod. Way better.
BUT The idea and some parts of the SU are very good. Nice skins and so on. IM looking forward to the "Ostheer" and a few patches.
