Russian AT-Rifles

I think this could be a nice idea for Russian AT.

Probably could be incorporated into the game like American Bazooka, or recoiless rifle.  :o

We already are :). Thanks for the suggestion anyway. Next update coming soon, you'll get to see what we're up to. You have any other ideas?

this russian at rifle has come across my road in diffrent games but in some of them (like CoD) it is a automatic rifle but in other games it is a bolt action rifle with long reload time... how is it gona be in this mod?

There are two different versions of the weapon, the PTRD and the PTRS. I am pretty sure the PTRS is automatic and the PTRD is bolt action. It either other the two it will be the bolt action PTRD.

ok good to know, but will they realy stand a chanse against a tank? in battlefield it took me 12 shoots at a tanks rear armour to make it blow and after that i had no ammo left!

The Russians also had bazookas thanks to the lend lease program.

If anything, the PTRD will slow down anything with heavy armor, not destroy it (i.e damage engie)

ok sounds fair, u shuld try ad abilites like brake threads and block vision (the thing bren guns can do) it would make it usefull.

The AT rifle, i think, should be a team as opposed to an upgrade to a squad. And i agre with the other guys, about how it should have abilities simmilar to the PE's AT halftrack, ie ability to immobilise vehicles, rather gthan destroy them. It should however, be capable of destroying early game light vehicles, jeeps, motor bikes, and the variuous armoured cars.
with the Automatic AT rifle you could use it in the same way as the German AA tank where it has a sorta burst, then a reload time. or the burst should cost ammo, liek the mg's armoured piercing rounds?
