My family and I are from Minsk, if anyone cares :) My father was born in 1941 :) So yeah, times were fun for my ancestors - nothing compared to the current earthquakes in Haiti.
Its just funny that it took almost 3 years for the U.S.A. to come help us fight and they are providing instant help to Haiti.
American public media such as movies etc are barely and very rarely mentioning anything about what really happened. They only show all this nonsense propaganda how Russians are bad and evil and stupid etc ex Drago. :) But whatever, I'm already used to it now.
Oh and FYI: I have watched countless number of Russian movies, and in not a single Russian movie I ever saw any similar crap that American movies show about the Russians.

This is an awesome site, very very useful, I'll use it I future. I can't believe they go on to list every last survivor of the GPW afterwards... that's just respect overkill.

you guys did pretty damn good with only a few supplies to help id be more proud of that than sore that some other country was playing politics too.
